Description
The Psychological Processing Analyzer (PPA) is software designed to identify the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) in achievement and psychological (cognitive) processes.
- Ideal for identifying the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) when conducting Specific Learning Disability (SLD) evaluations
- For use with selective, multi-battery testing of psychological (cognitive) processes and achievement
- Statistically analyzes scores from more than 120 different assessment batteries
- Analyzes strengths and weaknesses across 14 psychological (cognitive) processes
- Analyzes strengths and weaknesses across 8 SLD achievement areas

- Conducts a PSW within achievement, in addition to the cognitive PSW analysis

- Includes a report with a narrative, graphs, tables, observations, and recommendations for weaknesses
- Allows unlisted composites and subtests to be entered
- Allows either a cognitive ability composite or multi-battery mean to be used as the predictor
- Displays reliability coefficients for every composite and subtest
- Identifies both intra-individual and normative weaknesses
- Based on PSW analysis results, recommends potential SLD’s
- Allows score entries from standardized, norm-referenced rating scales
- Has built-in classroom observations
- Incorporates CHC abilities, but also neuropsychological abilities not included in CHC
- Provides summary strengths and weaknesses tables and charts
- Offers cost-effective district/site licenses with unlimited users and uses
- Software is updated annually
