New Webinar From Dr. Milton J. Dehn

Presenter: Milton J. Dehn
Length: 90 minutes
Created: 2021

Description:
Many children with ADHD also have weaknesses in several aspects of executive functioning, especially inhibition. Barkley, a well-known expert in ADHD proposed more that two decades ago that ADHD is fundamentally an Executive Function or Inhibition Disorder.

This presentation discusses the executive functions that are most likely to be deficient or delayed in children with ADHD. Knowing these details will allow practitioners to better address the needs of children with ADHD. A comprehensive evaluation of executive functions is recommended whenever an ADHD diagnosis is considered.
