Description
Anxiety disorders are the most common type of mental health disorder in youth with prevalence rates estimated between 5-10%. The vast majority of school-aged children struggle primarily with social anxiety. The STARS is a standardized, norm-referenced multipurpose rating scale that can be used to quantify the level of school-based social anxiety a student is experiencing. The STARS is also designed to assess how student anxiety impacts learning and social-emotional behavior in a K-12 school-based environment.
